Why take this course?

Suitable for anyone who wishes to use skin diving equipment to explore the underworld we now commonly call "innerspace".

Who can take this course?
Anyone who is aged 8 or older

How long does it take?

Over 2 days involving Pool training and Open Water Skin Diving

What's involved ?

Equipment familiarisation, safe entries and exits from the water, obtaining neutral buoyancy, airway control, buddy procedures, correct surface and underwater swimming, vertical dives, swimming 15 metres underwater on a single breath, snorkel breathing and clearing, weightbelt removal & replacement, correct hand signals

Are there any Extra~Hidden Costs?

None other than lake entry fees at £7.50 for the day. We do recommend that students have their own equipment however we do provide all equipment free of charge for this course.
